University of Washington's Sarah Clakley Named February 13 Northwest Division Player of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- Sarah Clakley of the University of Washington led the Huskies to a 4-0 mark in the season-opening weekend with 22 goals and five steals to earn the February 13 Women's Northwest Division Player of the Week award.

Facing Central Washington University (15-7 W), Seattle University (6-4 W), Oregon State University (8-5 W) and University of Oregon "B" (11-8 W), the Huskies finished a perfect weekend to tie with the Universty of Oregon "A" on top of the division standings.

She netted four goals against botht Seattle and Central Washington, while adding eight versus Oregon "B" and six against Oregon State to lead Washington on offense.  In addition, she converted on the majority of Washington's six-on-five chances.

On the other end of the tank, she contributed three steals against Seattle before adding one versus Oregon "B" and Oregon State.
